Cinnamon Baked Peaches: The Perfect Summer Fruit and Fall Spice Dessert

Summer is one of my favorite times of the year because it means the return of farmers markets and an abundance of fresh, local produce. There’s something so satisfying about strolling through the market on a sunny Saturday morning and picking out the best fruits and vegetables of the season!

Peaches are always at the top of my list—sweet, juicy, and bursting with flavor! It’s one of my favorite parts of summer, knowing that those ripe peaches will soon become delicious treats! It’s a simple joy that makes summer so sweet.

This cinnamon baked peaches recipe is a simple and delicious way to enjoy them, especially as a light and satisfying dessert after dinner. The warm, sweet aroma that fills the kitchen while they bake makes it impossible to resist!

Cinnamon Baked Peaches Ingredients

  • 4 large ripe peaches
  • 2 TBSP butter
  • 2 TBSP sugar
  • 1 TBSP cinnamon
  • 1 TBSP vanilla extract

How to Prepare

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F
  • Slice the peaches in half and remove the pits.
  • Place the peaches face down on a baking sheet or skillet and lightly coat them with olive oil.
  • Once the oven is heated, bake the peaches for 10 minutes.
  • While the peaches are baking, combine the butter, sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla in a bowl.
  • After 10 minutes, remove the peaches from the oven and flip them over.
  • Spoon the cinnamon-sugar mixture into the center of each peach where the pits were.
  • Return the peaches to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
  • Once done, remove the peaches from the oven and serve them in a bowl with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Enjoy!
